    Monkeys

    Today Basil and I were drawing and he asked me to draw him a monkey...well, an "ooh-ooh aah-ahh" really. I am fairly competent at drawing most things, albeit crudely; but I could not for the life of me draw that monkey! The body was fine but the poor things face was so pathetic.

    Sorry Basil, Mommy needs to practice her monkeys.

    You know those magna-doodle things? My son always wants me to draw an elephant on them (which I can do pretty well). Then, he asked for a frog. Uhm, well, didn't turn out too well. Guess I better go practice my magna-doodle frogs:)
