Hot House Fever
We are slowly adjusting to life as a four-some. Basil has only done minor damage to his sister and our sleep loss has been next to nothing! Sometimes the days are really long around the house, however. I went out with the *KIDS* for the first time on my own yesterday. I felt proud of myself...figuring out who to put in the carseat first, how to nurse the baby in the sling while pushing the shopping cart, etc. God is good because no one cried too much and I was still glad I had ventured out by the time we got home.
Today I did it again...and it was another success. We hit the local Wal Mart (or "Mart of Doom" as Aaron has so fondly dubbed it). I'm usually banned from shopping there but someone gave us a $50 gift card when Juliana was born. I quickly realized that I'm not missing much except cheap toilet paper. They do carry everything bagels, however...yummy. Needless to say, it has been really nice to get out at least once during the day. It preserves sanity and air-conditioned buildings/cars are a welcome relief. Maybe I'll try the park next. Some cool morning air might do us all some good.

Three cheers for a little bit of freedom!
Congratulations on the excursions!
Did you spend all fifty on bagels and tp?
hehe, mimi :) no, of course i found lots of other treasures. thre's still a bit left on the card too...for another day out, of course.
Suspected not! But the mental picture was kind of funny!
Isn't it amazing what you find when it feels like it's free!
Enjoy!
I'm just impressed you have been able to still post on the blog! That must be tricky in and of itself with the demands the kids make on you!
Karl,
she's a miracle worker!
