    A Bear for Basil

This was an experiment...but I like it. It was meant to be a Christmas gift but alas, I didn't hide it well enough and the little monkey found it!

The body is brown cordouroy that was a pair of pants in its past life and the plaid was curtains bought at a thrift store a while back.

The plaid tummy is a bit big but he looks happy nonetheless.

    Too CUTE!!!

Oh, I love it. You always inspire me :D

Took my sewing machine to two different service places, one would have given me a tune-up or $50, the other place said my machine needed $129 worth of repairs.

    Handsewing it is!

Katie...that would be fun. You should come over one of these days, we can do a little project if you'd like.

    Momma...I'll ask him :)

The eyes are the coolest. And the tummy. Looks asian. My students would die for one of those. Well, they would give all their stars. Too bad for them. ; )
